Chi sono/Who am I

Mi chiamo Monti Davide, ho 35 anni e vivo in un paese della Lombardia.

Sono rimasto talmente colpito e affascinato dalla Finlandia, pur essendoci stato solamente (purtroppo) una volta (in estate), che ho deciso di creare un sito dove poter raccontare e descrivere tutto quello che ho passato/visto/provato in quello Stato.

 

My name is David Monti, I'm 35 years old and I live in a country of Lombardy, in Italy.

I was so impressed and fascinated by Finland, although there was only (unfortunately) once (in the summer), I decided to create a site where I can narrate and describe everything I've been through / seen / experienced in that State.

Storia del progetto/History of this project

L'idea di creare "qualcosa" di personale, come queste pagine, riguardante la Finlandia mi è nata quasi subito dopo essere tornato in Italia (purtroppo, devo ammettere...) dopo aver trascorso (solamente) 2 settimane in quel Paese. 14 giorni, più precisamente dal 4 al 18 Luglio 2013, indimenticabili...uno più bello dell'altro, a mio avviso!

Il mio "progetto" di viaggio è iniziato poco prima di Natale del 2012...ho iniziato ad interessarmi,a documentarmi il più possibile circa le città finlandesi, il suo territorio, il suo popolo,la sua lingua,la sua storia: insomma, un lavoro piuttosto meticoloso! Una volta aver appreso tante informazioni, mi sono dedicato alla ricerca di un possibile itinerario da intraprendere con la scelta delle varie sistemazioni. Quindi, per concludere questa breve "storia", devo aggiungere che il lavoro di ricerca è stato (soprattutto) personale ma anche tramite un'agenzia di viaggi che mi ha aiutato molto e mi ha chiarito vari dubbi.

In sintesi, la mia permanenza in terra finlandese è iniziata con l'arrivo nella capitale (Helsinki) il giorno 4 Luglio 2013 dopo essere partito dall'aeroporto di Malpensa. Il secondo giorno nella capitale ho ritirato un automobile a noleggio, dopodiché è iniziata la grande "avventura"...ovvero visitare la Finlandia da sud a nord! Non mi dilungherò oltre sulle varie tappe in questa sede, ma finisco dicendo soltanto che il ritorno (in Italia) è avvenuto il 18 Luglio 2013 partendo dall'aeroporto di una città chiamata Ivalo...

 

The idea of ​​creating "something" of personnel, as these pages, concerning Finland it was born almost immediately after returning to Italy (unfortunately , I must admit ... ) after spending (only) 2 weeks in that country. 14 days , more precisely from 4 to 18 July 2013, unforgettable ... one day better than the other , in my opinion !

My " project" journey began just before Christmas of 2012 ... I became interested , to document as much as possible about the Finnish cities , its land , its people , its language , its history : in short, , a rather meticulous work ! Once I have learned so much information , I devoted myself to search for a possible route to be taken with the choice of different accommodations. So to conclude this brief " history " , I must add that the research work has been (mostly) by myself, but also through a travel agency that has helped me a lot and it made ​​me clear many doubts.

In summary, this stay in Finland began with the arrival in the capital (Helsinki ) on July 4, 2013 after departing from Malpensa Airport. The second day in the capital I took a hire car , then began the great " adventure" ... visit Finland from south to north ! I will not go over the various stages here, but I end up saying only that the return (in Italy) took place July 18, 2013 starting from a town called Ivalo ...

Mi sono imbattuto in un problema "di spazio"...dovrò (ahimè) fare una selezione delle foto da inserire nella galleria. Comunque, per ora, ho deciso di pubblicare e condividere con voi il frutto (forse ancora acerbo) del mio lavoro.
